On Saturday June 12th I had the opportunity to check out a new Conjunto/Tejano band from Austin, Texas -"MAL VICIO" at the St. Paul's Jamaica in Menchaca, Texas at the Menchaca Volunteer Fire Hall.

This band has promising carreer in la onda Tejana. They play a variety of music including rancheras, polkas and some very upbeat cumbias. They easily have a rapport with their audiences. I enjoyed their very energized performance on this saturday afternoon. Their arrangements on their cumbias really got the audience moving. They have alot of energy. Their vocal performances greatly improved throughout this gig. It was a pleasure enjoying their music selection. I look forward to seeing their next performance. Don't miss it!
